Day 3: Istanbul
Visit the best of Istanbul’s Ottoman wonders.
Highlights of your day: Topkapi Palace and Treasury Museum, Museum of the Ancient Orient, Archaeological Museum and Spice Bazaar.
Tonight you will descend into the mysterious and surreal 6th century cistern for a wildly romantic private dinner under the streets of ancient Byzantine Constantinople.
Day 4: Cappadocia
Fly to Cappadocia.
For the next few days, you will be immersed in a stunningly photogenic world. Explore monastic cave churches, some dating to the 3rd century, where the frescoes are often remarkably intact.
Highlights of your day: Goreme Valley and the restored “Dark Church,” the hilltop village of Uchisar and the village of Avanos, set on the banks of the Red River.
Day 5: Cappadocia
This day begins very early, with a special private hot air balloon ride over rippled ravines and desolate landscapes.
Highlights of your day: the small villages of Sinasos and Soganli, the vast underground city of Kaymakli and Pasabag Valley, with its many mysterious “fairy chimneys.”.
Day 6: Izmir/Ephesus
Fly to Izmir.

Day 8: Bodrum
