Day 1: Istanbul
In the afternoon, with your expert guide, begin exploring the historic streets, set against the dramatic backdrop of Istanbul. Stroll through nearby Karakoy fish market and snack on a fresh and scrumptious fish sandwich.
Day 2: Istanbul
Highlights of your day: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, the often-bypassed, but quite amazing, Museum of Mosaics, the Hippodrome, the cavernous underground cistern and the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar.
Day 3: Istanbul
Highlights of your morning: Topkapi Palace, the fresco-lined ceilings at Santa Kariye which paint a unique biblical story, the complex of Suleyman the Magnificent, the Rustem Pasha Mosque and the famous Spice Bazaar.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a private cruise up the Bosphorus. Savor a leisurely exploration of this historic waterway between Europe and Asia.
Day 4: Istanbul
This morning, meet one of Istanbul’s culinary experts for a walking tour. Try the regional cuisine of Turkey as you visit and taste from the street food stalls in and around Istanbul’s vibrant neighborhoods.

Day 5: Cappadocia
Fly to Cappadocia.
For the next few days, you will dive into a magical world of fairy chimneys and troglodyte dwellings, which will leave an unforgettable impression.
Highlights of your day: Goreme Valley and the restored “Dark Church” at Goreme, the natural citadel of Uchisar, and the village of Avanos known for its pottery.
Day 6: Cappadocia
Watch the sun rise as you soar through the skies from your perch on a hot air balloon adventure (optional).
Highlights of your morning: the small villages of Sinasos and Soganli, the vast underground city of Kaymakli, and the Pasabag Valley.
Peddle along a rock-carved landscape; unlike anything you have ever seen before, during an afternoon mountain biking expedition.
Day 7: Izmir/Ephesus/Sirince
Fly to Izmir.
Spend the afternoon in Turkey’s third largest city, Izmir, on the shores of the Aegean.
Highlights of your day: The Agora of old Smyrna, the Kemeralti bazaar, and the seaside Kordon Promenade, where you can chow down on some of Izmir’s delicious street-style stuffed mussels.
Day 8: Ephesus/Sirince
Today you will explore ancient Ephesus, which in its heyday rivaled Rome in its splendor.
Highlights of your day: The Celsus Library, Ephesus Museum, Terrace Houses, House of the Virgin Mary, and The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. End your day in one of our favorite Turkish villages.
Day 9: Bodrum
Enjoy your ride down to the coastal city of Bodrum.
Highlights of your day: the ruins of Priene, Miletus, Euromos and Didyma, famous for its giant Head of Medusa.
When you arrive in Bodrum, board your private luxury sailing gullet (traditional wooden sailing vessel).
Embark on a journey through coves, islands and picturesque towns scattered along the pristine Turquoise Coast. Relax in the sun, while being immersed in the historic past of Turkey’s southern waters.
Day 10-14: At Sea
Spend the next several days leisurely sailing, sunbathing, snorkeling, waterskiing, fishing, swimming and shopping. Your exceptional crew will take care of all needs throughout your journey.
